Ignitis to enter into a long-term LNG purchas...

(LSE/AIM:IGN) UAB Ignitis will enter into a long-term LNG purchase agreement for the period 2027–2036 with a subsidiary of EQT Corporation, following the call for binding offers for the long-term supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) announced on 25 August 2026. Under the agreement, Ignitis will commit to purchasing 10 LNG cargoes, consisting of one cargo (approx. 1 TWh) per year. The pricing under the agreement is linked to two international natural gas price benchmarks, the U.S. Henry Hub and the European TTF index. The long-term LNG purchase agreement is aimed at meeting the needs of residential natural gas consumers and will contribute to the diversification of natural gas supply sources, greater supply flexibility, more effective management of natural gas price volatility risks, and more stable supply conditions for residential natural gas consumers in Lithuania. Following amendments approved by the National Energy Regulatory Council (NERC) to the Methodology for Setting State-Regulated Prices in the Natural Gas Sector, Ignitis is able, when developing the household natural gas supply portfolio, to assess prices under both short-term and long-term contracts and to apply a broader range of international price benchmarks, with related costs taken into account when setting natural gas prices for residential consumers. Ignitis submitted to NERC a justification of the agreement before signing it. The transaction will be submitted for review to the Commission for the Coordination of the Protection of Objects Important to National Security, as required by the Law on the Protection of Objects Important to National Security of the Republic of Lithuania. The completion of the transaction is also subject to the approval of the LNG supplier's corporate governing bodies. Update on German Asset Sale

(LSE:GSF) Gore Street Energy Storage Fund plc announced an update on the sale of its 22 MW operational asset in Germany, Cremzow. The Board reported that multiple bidders had submitted offers and the process had reached an advanced stage, with a sale and purchase agreement in finalisation. At a late stage, the prospective buyer sought to significantly alter its offer to a level the Board considered represented poor value for Shareholders, so the process will no longer be moving forward with this party. The asset is trading well, achieving revenues of £17.19/MW/hr in Q1 FY26/27. The Board considers the most likely reason for the disruption to the sale process with this buyer is the uncertainty caused by Saba's requisitioned resolutions. The Board no longer considers the disposal to be at an advanced stage and the timeline on this disposal process has extended. The GSF Board sub-committee has instructed the sell-side adviser, Alexa Capital, to re-engage with other parties. None of the bidders in this or other sales processes underway are entities managed by Gore Street Investment Management, the Company's investment manager. Angus Gordon Lennox, Chair of the Company, commented that one of the consequences of the requisitioned Saba resolutions is that live sale processes may be adversely affected, either because the Company is perceived to be a forced seller or because of broader uncertainty regarding its future, with consequent detrimental impacts on the value achievable for Shareholders. The Company will continue to provide regular updates to Shareholders on this sale and on the parallel processes underway.

(LSE/AIM:0NX2) ABB Ltd published a new report, The Strategic Case for Hybrid AC/DC Power: Shaping the Transition to the Next Electrical Architecture, developed in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), highlighting the growing role of direct current (DC) technologies in future power systems. The report states that rapid expansion of AI computing, increasing electrification, and the rise of renewable energy are driving renewed interest in DC technology as part of future electrical systems. Both AC and DC systems are described as having strategically important roles in meeting future electricity demand. The report finds that 800 VDC distribution is emerging as the defining architecture for next-generation AI infrastructure, enabling operators to maximize compute capacity within constrained grid connections while improving energy efficiency. ABB was the first company to demonstrate the energy-saving potential of DC in vessels with a DC-based onboard power system that achieved fuel savings of up to 27 percent and launched the industry’s first solid state circuit breaker in 2022. ABB holds more than 700 DC-related patents and is bringing DC distribution to a broader range of applications, including electric transport, microgrids, and data centers. The report identifies fragmented standards and a shortage of DC-specific skills as the primary challenges to accelerating DC deployment. ABB is also working with industry partners to explore how DC distribution can support low-carbon aluminum production and the production of green hydrogen. Legacy Defect Notifications

(AIM:TGP) Tekmar Group plc announced it has reached a settlement with a customer in connection with outstanding legacy defect notifications, as referenced in the Company's FY25 Annual Report. The settlement relates to the industry-wide issue of abrasion affecting legacy cable protection systems installed at offshore wind farms. Tekmar has agreed settlement terms with the customer with no admission of liability and no conclusion of defect with the Company's products. The financial impact of the settlement is within the amounts provided for in the Company's FY25 Annual Report and will have no detrimental impact on the Group's financial performance in FY26. The settlement is payable in cash shortly and will be funded primarily from insurance proceeds already received by Tekmar. Richard Turner, CEO of Tekmar Group, stated that resolving these legacy matters is positive for Tekmar's future and builds on significant progress already made in this area. The settlement is described as a major step towards drawing a line under all known significant defect notifications relating to abrasion of legacy cable protection systems installed at offshore windfarms. Tekmar has achieved this and other settlements while retaining robust relationships with these customers, whom they continue to support on Offshore Wind projects.

Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Prior to relocating to Jersey, she worked for a leading international law firm in London. Net Zero Infrastructure — Allotment and Admission of New Shares

(LSE:NZI) Net Zero Infrastructure PLC announced the allotment and admission of 41,450,000 new ordinary shares of £0.01 each to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange plc, following two fundraisings completed as announced on 30 July 2026 and 19 August 2026. The New Shares comprise 25,000,000 ordinary shares issued pursuant to the fundraising announced on 30 July 2026 and a further 16,450,000 ordinary shares issued pursuant to the additional fundraising announced on 19 August 2026. Dealings in the Company's ordinary shares remain suspended and will not commence until the publication of the Company's AIM Admission Document in relation to its initial transaction announced on 22 May 2025, or an announcement that such initial transaction is not proceeding and the suspension is subsequently lifted. Following Admission, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 102,150,000 ordinary shares of £0.01 each, with no shares held in treasury and a total number of voting rights of 102,150,000. In connection with the Investment Agreement signed on 12/1/2026 and announced in the RNS 16/4/2026, an additional £100,000 was drawn on 28/5/2026 for working capital purposes. Vh Global Energy Infrastructure Plc — Disposal of Six Brazilian Solar PV Assets

(LSE:ENRG) VH Global Energy Infrastructure plc has entered into an agreement for the sale of six operational solar PV assets located in the Rio de Janeiro state, with a total installed capacity of 11.7 MWp. The total consideration for the assets will be at least R$38.0 million (approximately £5.4 million), representing 92% of the assets' NAV as of 31 March 2026. R$35.0 million is payable at closing, and R$3.0 million is deferred consideration, payable 12 months after signing and subject to adjustment for payments and costs related to labour claims against the construction contractors. There is a further performance-based earn out payable 12 months after signing, which could be up to R$12 million in aggregate if the assets generate revenues above expectations. Net proceeds from the transaction will be returned to shareholders via a bonus issue of redeemable B shares under the B share scheme. No realisation performance fee to the Investment Manager is expected to result directly from the sale of the assets. The transaction is the second disposal under the Company's shareholder-approved Asset Realisation Strategy, following the agreement for the sale of its two US liquid storage terminals. The remaining seven operational Brazilian solar PV assets, contracted with Telefônica, are at an advanced stage in a separate sales process under exclusivity with a Brazilian strategic player in distributed generation.
