Re-issue of Treasury Shares

Spire Healthcare - Application of Rule 4.2(c)

(LSE:SPI) Spire Healthcare Group PLC announced that on 5 September 2026, it reached agreement with Tulip UK Bidco Limited on the terms of a recommended cash offer, under which Bidco would acquire the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of Spire that the Consortium did not already own. On 9 September 2026, Bridgemere Securities Limited, acting in concert with Bidco, sold 22,435,739 Spire shares, representing approximately 5.57 per cent. of the existing issued share capital of Spire, at a price of 245 pence per Spire share. The Panel Executive concluded that, as a result of this sale, the restrictions set out in Rule 4.2(c) of the Takeover Code will apply to Bidco, meaning neither Bidco nor any person acting in concert with it may acquire an interest in any securities of Spire, and Bidco may not revise its offer other than in exceptional circumstances and only with the prior consent of the Panel. Each of Spire and Bidco has accepted this ruling.

Share Awards to Executive Directors

(AIM: EAH) ECO Animal Health Group plc announced that on 9 September 2026, nominal cost conditional share options were granted under the Company’s Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP") over 404,526 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.60 percent of the Company’s issued share capital, to Executive Directors David Hallas and Chris Wilks. David Hallas, Chief Executive Officer, received 232,449 LTIP share awards and Chris Wilks, Chief Financial Officer, received 172,077 LTIP share awards. These LTIP awards are subject to performance conditions set by the Company’s Remuneration Committee relating to Total Shareholder Return ("TSR") and Research and Development ("R&D") targets, and will vest after a three-year vesting period if the conditions are met. On the same date, nominal cost restricted share units ("RSUs") over 50,566 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.07 percent of the Company’s issued share capital, were granted to the same Executive Directors. David Hallas received 29,056 RSUs and Chris Wilks received 21,510 RSUs. The RSUs will vest after a three-year vesting period and are not subject to performance conditions. Following these purchases, James McCullough is interested in 3,447,096 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.57% of the issued share capital of the Company, including shares held through his family trust, The McCullough 2020 Irrevocable Trust. Glanbia appoints Wendy ChangSmith as CFO Designate

Glanbia plc announces that Mark Garvey will retire from the Group following thirteen years as Chief Financial Officer. Mark Garvey will step down as CFO and from the Glanbia Board on 30 March 2027 and will retire from the Group on 30 April 2027. Wendy Chang Smith, currently Chief Digital & Transformation Officer, will be appointed Glanbia CFO and an Executive Director on the Company's Board on 31 March 2027. With effect from 10 September 2026, Wendy Chang Smith takes on the role of CFO Designate of Glanbia. Wendy Chang Smith was previously CFO of Glanbia's Performance Nutrition segment. Before joining Glanbia in 2020, Wendy Chang Smith held senior finance positions with Amazon, Kellogg, Johnson & Johnson and Proctor & Gamble, working in the US, Europe and Asia. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and an MBA (Finance) from Brigham Young University in the United States. Hugh McGuire, CEO Glanbia, congratulated Wendy Chang Smith on her appointment and thanked Mark Garvey for his outstanding leadership and significant contribution to Glanbia over the past thirteen years. Japan approval of Shingrix in a prefilled syringe

(NASDAQ:AGEN) GSK plc announced that Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) has approved a prefilled syringe presentation of Shingrix (GSK’s Recombinant Zoster Vaccine or RZV) for the prevention of shingles (herpes zoster). The new prefilled syringe is ready-to-use and offers more convenient administration compared to the previous two-vial format, which required manual combination of a dry antigen and a liquid adjuvant. Shingrix has been approved by the Japanese MHLW for the prevention of herpes zoster in adults aged 50 years and older since 2018, and in adults aged 18 years and older at increased risk of HZ since 2023. Over one million people develop shingles in Japan each year, with approximately 1.1 million cases annually. The prefilled syringe launched in the US in February 2026 and is launching in Europe throughout this year. Approvals are based on data confirming technical comparability between the prefilled syringe and the existing vaccine presentation, with no change in indication or dosing. Shingrix combines an antigen, glycoprotein E, with an adjuvant system, AS01 B, which contains QS-21 Stimulon® adjuvant licensed from Antigenics LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Agenus Inc. (NASDAQ: AGEN), MPL and liposomes. Up to 30% of people who develop shingles experience post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN), a long-lasting nerve pain. Over 90% of adults have the varicella-zoster virus dormant in their nervous system.

Welsh hospitals extend routine MT-RNR1 testing

(AIM:GDR) genedrive plc announced that Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board will extend routine clinical service of the Genedrive® MT-RNR1 ID kit for the prevention of Antibiotic Induced Hearing Loss in neonates admitted to Neonatal Intensive Care Units, with continuation funded from 1 May 2026 until the outcome of the final NICE assessment expected in July 2027. These hospitals represent approximately 750 NICU admissions annually and are two of the 14 sites participating in the PALOH-UK programme, which was established to address NICE Real World Evidence generation requirements. Seven of the 14 UK sites participating in the PALOH-UK Programme have now transitioned to routine clinical service, demonstrating growing adoption of Genedrive® MT-RNR1 in NHS neonatal care. Patient recruitment in the PALOH-UK programme has been completed, with nearly 6,000 babies in neonatal care receiving the Genedrive® MT-RNR1 ID test. Since the introduction of the test in the UK, more than 40 critically ill babies have been identified with the MT-RNR1 variant, allowing clinicians to prescribe an alternative antibiotic and helping to prevent AIHL. Clinical cohort analysis is underway with publication expected in scientific literature around October 2026. Funding for PALOH-UK sites is provided by the Office for Life Sciences and National Institute for Health and Care Research. The Genedrive® MT-RNR1 ID Kit has exited NICE's Early Value Assessment pathway and has been selected for technology appraisal following ministerial referral from the Department of Health and Social Care. The test currently has a conditional NICE recommendation. NHS England has communicated an anticipated tender notice publication date of 1 January 2027 and a go-live target of July 2027, subject to the outcome of NICE guidance.

PRTC's SPTX: New Positive Phase 1 GlyphAllo Data

(LSE: PRTC) PureTech Health plc notes that its Founded Entity, Seaport Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SPTX), announced positive topline results from the Phase 1 Driving Simulation Trial of GlyphAllo™ (SPT-300 or Glyph Allopregnanolone) in healthy volunteers. The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating that evening dosing of GlyphAllo at 375 mg did not impair next-morning driving performance compared to placebo on Day 5, following multiple-day dosing. The key secondary endpoint was also met, showing that a single evening dose of 250 mg GlyphAllo did not impair next-morning driving performance compared to placebo on Day 2. GlyphAllo was well-tolerated at all doses, with no serious adverse events reported and most adverse events being mild and transient. The trial included a 7.5 mg dose of zopiclone as a positive control, which produced statistically significant impairment relative to both GlyphAllo and placebo on both Day 2 and Day 5, confirming assay sensitivity. The trial was a randomized, double-blind, placebo- and active-controlled, three-way, crossover Phase 1 trial in 33 healthy volunteers, using the Cognitive Research Corporation Driving Simulator-MiniSim to assess driving performance approximately nine hours after dosing. Seaport plans to submit the results to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as part of the ongoing development program for GlyphAllo and present additional analyses at upcoming scientific meetings. Seaport is actively enrolling patients in BUOY-1, a two-arm, global, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, potentially registration-enabling Phase 2b trial investigating the safety and efficacy of GlyphAllo in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD), with or without anxious distress. Topline data from the BUOY-1 trial are expected in the first half of 2027.

Grant of Canadian Patent for OptiMAL

(AIM: FAB) Fusion Antibodies plc announces that its patent application no. CA 3115150, entitled "Antibody Library and Method", has been granted by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. The Patent covers two families of antibodies and the method for the design of such antibody libraries. The grant follows the receipt of a notice of allowance from the Canadian Patent Office, previously announced on 22 June 2026. The Patent is expected to be complementary to Fusion's offering to provide "Opti" designed antibody libraries for applications including Antibody Discovery, Affinity Maturation, and Sequence Optimisation. Fusion continues to progress additional patent applications in respect of the OptiMAL® Library in several other territories worldwide including Europe and China. Fusion Antibodies plc specialises in pre-clinical antibody discovery, engineering and supply for both therapeutic drug and diagnostic applications. Since 2012, the Company has successfully sequenced and/or expressed over 750 antibodies and completed over 250 humanisation projects. RYANAIR CALLS FOR NATS CEO ROLFE TO BE SACKED

(LSE/AIM:CDI) Ryanair Holdings PLC called on Transport Minister Heidi Alexander to sack Martin Rolfe, the CEO of UK NATS ATC service, citing repeated failures of the NATS UK ATC system under his leadership. Ryanair highlighted that on 8 September, the NATS ATC system failed due to a 'flight plan processing failure', which was the same issue that caused the August 2023 system outage. This marks the fourth major NATS system failure in 2026 alone. Ryanair stated that after the August 2023 failure, Martin Rolfe promised that such failures would not recur and that the backup system would function if the primary system failed, but the latest incident demonstrates ongoing unreliability. Ryanair's CEO Michael O'Leary described Martin Rolfe as an 'overpaid (£1.4m p.a.) failure' and called for his removal, noting that UK NATS is one of Europe's most expensive ATC systems and continues to experience repeated failures. Ryanair also claimed that under Martin Rolfe's leadership, UK NATS has prioritized paying dividends to shareholders, including the UK Government and UK airlines, over investing in resilient primary and backup systems. Transport Minister Heidi Alexander, who owns 49% of NATS, was urged to demand Rolfe's resignation or dismissal. Ryanair asserted that airlines and passengers serving the UK are bearing the costs of these repeated failures.

The next phase of the partnership will integrate Simplyhealth's On Demand services into Hapi, Personal Group's employee benefits platform, embedding these services within Personal Group's core offering. Imfinzi+Imdelltra improved OS in small cell lung

(NYSE:AZN) AstraZeneca PLC announced that Imfinzi plus Imdelltra demonstrated a statistically significant and highly clinically meaningful improvement in overall survival and progression-free survival in 1st-line extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) in the DeLLphi-305 Phase III trial. Imfinzi is the first and only immunotherapy in combination with a bispecific T-cell engager to show survival benefit in this setting. The DeLLphi-305 Phase III trial included 563 patients with ES-SCLC who had not progressed following standard induction treatment with Imfinzi in combination with platinum chemotherapy (carboplatin or cisplatin) and etoposide. Patients were randomised 1:1 to receive either Imfinzi in combination with tarlatamab or Imfinzi alone until progression or unacceptable toxicity. Imfinzi plus tarlatamab also demonstrated a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in the secondary endpoints of progression-free survival and objective response rate. The safety and tolerability profile of Imfinzi plus tarlatamab was consistent with the known safety profiles of the individual treatments, with no new safety signals identified. In 2026, an estimated 195,000 people globally will be treated for ES-SCLC. Lung cancer accounts for almost one in five (19%) cancer deaths globally, with about 15% classified as SCLC and two-thirds of SCLC patients diagnosed with ES-SCLC. Only 18.1% of LS-SCLC patients and 3.6% of ES-SCLC patients are alive five years after diagnosis. Imfinzi is approved in the US, EU, Japan, China and many other countries as the standard-of-care treatment for ES-SCLC and limited-stage SCLC based on the CASPIAN and ADRIATIC Phase III trials. Since the first approval in May 2017, more than 470,000 patients have been treated with Imfinzi.
