Q1 FY2027 Earnings Release

(NYSE: SUNB, LSE: SUNB) Sunbelt Rentals Holdings, Inc. reported record first quarter results for fiscal 2027, with total revenue increasing 11.2% to $3,115 million and rental revenue rising 12.5% to $2,927 million for the quarter ended July 31, 2026. North America General Tool segment rental revenue increased 7.4% to $1,648 million, while North America Specialty segment rental revenue surged 25.3% to $1,070 million. Operating income grew 15.9% to $691 million at a margin of 22.2%, and adjusted operating profit rose 13.8% to $759 million with a margin of 24.4%. Net income increased 17.4% to $438 million, and earnings per share climbed 23.0% to $1.07, with adjusted earnings per share up 20.4% to $1.18. Adjusted EBITDA increased 8.7% to $1,315 million at a margin of 42.2%. The company raised its full-year fiscal 2027 guidance, now projecting total revenue growth of 6% to 9%, rental revenue growth of 7% to 10%, adjusted EBITDA of $4.92 billion to $5.12 billion, net rental equipment capital expenditures of $2.4 billion to $2.8 billion, and gross rental capital expenditures of $2.75 billion to $3.15 billion. The acquisition of Reliant Asset Management (Aries brand) closed May 1, 2026, contributing approximately 100 basis points to rental revenue growth, and the FIFA World Cup contributed approximately 250 basis points. At July 31, 2026, original cost of rental equipment was $20,102 million, average fleet age was 52 months, long-term debt was $8,006 million, net debt was $8,524 million, and net leverage was 1.8x. The company completed a $1.2 billion senior notes offering, repurchased $56 million of common stock, paid $307 million in dividends, opened 13 greenfield locations, and invested $669 million on two bolt-on acquisitions. Half-year Report

(AIM: STCM) Steppe Cement Ltd announced its unaudited interim results for the half year ended 30 June 2026, reporting sales of 978,950 tonnes of cement and consolidated turnover of KZT29,588 million (USD61.1 million), up from 850,424 tonnes and KZT20,717 million (USD40.9 million) in H1 2025. Sales volume increased by 15% and turnover in KZT by 43%, with a profit after tax of USD9.0 million compared to a loss of USD0.5 million in H1 2025. Earnings per share were 4.1 cents, up from a loss of 0.2 cents per share. The average delivered cement price was KZT30,224 per tonne (USD62.1), and the ex-factory price was KZT27,747 per tonne (USD57.1). Gross margin rose to 34% from 21%, driven by higher selling prices and improved operating performance. Selling expenses increased by 7% in USD terms to USD5.8 million, and administrative expenses rose by 14% to USD4.1 million. Profit from operations was USD11.8 million, up from USD0.01 million in H1 2025, while finance costs decreased to USD0.3 million. Property, plant and equipment additions were USD2.1 million. The company continued its project to expand production capacity to 2.5 million tonnes, spending USD2 million in H1 2026 on advance payments, with commissioning planned for summer 2027 after a 3-month shutdown of line 6. The company signed a new agreement with the Ecological Department of the Government, committing to implementing BAT over ten years, involving investments of up to USD10 million and bringing savings in ecological taxes of USD1.5 million per annum. The USD35 million capacity expansion project and related ecological improvements are being financed from cash flow. The company's market share reached approximately 15% in the first half, an increase of 2% from the prior year. For the full year 2026, the company anticipates sales of approximately 1.95 to 2 million tonnes of cement. Net cash generated from operating activities increased to USD9.6 million from USD2.2 million in H1 2025. Total borrowings were USD2.1 million and cash equivalents were USD18.8 million, resulting in a net cash position of approximately USD16.7 million. Inventories were USD20.6 million as of 30 June 2026. The group had USD6.2 million undrawn working capital facilities available under Halyk Bank JSC short-term loan facilities. The company completed the restructuring of the holding companies by closing the Netherlands based holding company and Mechanical and Electrical Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. Elopak ASA: Launch of share buy-back programm...

Response to Press Speculation

(LSE/AIM:GDWN) Goodwin PLC has confirmed that it is in advanced discussions regarding the potential sale of a substantial part of its Mechanical Engineering division, which includes Goodwin Steel Castings, Goodwin International, Noreva, Easat Group and Pumps, to funds advised by Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. for a headline cash consideration of up to approximately £1,100,000,000, subject to customary closing adjustments. The Board notes that discussions are ongoing and there can be no certainty that a transaction will be entered into, nor as to its terms. EBT Share Purchase Programme

(LSE/AIM:GATC) Gattaca plc has instructed Apex Financial Services (Trust Company) Limited, administrator of the Gattaca Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT"), to conduct additional market purchases of the Company's existing ordinary shares of one penny each. The Board has authorised the EBT to acquire up to an additional approximately 480,000 Shares in aggregate between August 2026 and July 2027. The purchases are to be made at a rate of approximately 40,000 Shares per month. Cloud Cycle's technology, which combines in-truck sensors, edge computing, and machine learning, has already been deployed on more than 150 Holcim concrete mixer trucks in the United Kingdom, Italy, and Switzerland. This investment will accelerate the roll-out of the solution across Holcim’s global fleet and complements Holcim’s AI-powered solutions such as Q-Predict, a real-time cement property prediction tool. Cloud Cycle enables Holcim to extend quality monitoring from the plant to the delivery site, reducing the amount of returned concrete and improving mixes with circular and low-carbon concrete solutions including ECOCycle. Holcim has made 21 investments to date through Holcim MAQER Ventures, its corporate venture capital unit. (LSE:0N2Z) Vossloh Aktiengesellschaft announced that DB InfraGO has extended its framework agreement with Vossloh for preventive rail maintenance by another year. Since 2023, around 40,000 kilometers of track on Deutsche Bahn’s heavily trafficked railway network have been machined using High Speed Grinding (HSG) and measurements taken, without a single track closure. Over 4,800 hours of additional network capacity have so far been gained through the use of HSG technology. Practical experience has shown that a rail’s lifespan can be extended by up to 100% with regular preventive machining. Rail defects are prevented from progressing beyond their early stages, future construction and the speed restrictions required are significantly reduced, and noise emissions are lowered by up to ten decibels, as measured on the dB(A) scale adjusted for the human ear. The work carried out under this contract will be accompanied by an extensive range of Vossloh’s in-house digital developments, enabling partially automated planning, preparation, analysis, and documentation of maintenance services. These integrated technologies include transverse profile monitoring and correction, longitudinal profile measurements using laser sensors, crack detection using eddy current probes, live schedule views, and detailed evaluation to create an information-based, integrated maintenance system. Vossloh employs around 5,500 people and operates more than 60 production sites worldwide. The Group generated sales of €1,3 billion in fiscal year 2025.

Q2 Trading Update

(LSE:MCG) Mobico Group PLC reported that Group revenue grew 5.0% year-on-year in Q2 2026, reflecting continued strong momentum in Alsa and the ongoing recovery in German Rail. Alsa revenue increased 8.0% year-on-year versus Q2 2025, or 13.7% excluding UK Coach. Long Haul revenue increased 7.0%, driven by sustained demand and a 4.2% increase in yield. Regional revenue increased 10.5%, driven by a 14.3% increase in passenger volumes across variable passenger demand contracts. Urban revenue increased 6.4% with passenger volumes up 10.8%. International and diversified revenue increased 21.3%, with the reduction in operating footprint in Morocco at the end of 2025 more than offset by strong growth in other regions. UK Coach revenue decreased 16.7%, reflecting reduced passenger numbers and yields, as well as the targeted reduction of unprofitable routes. WeDriveU revenue decreased 11.8% year-on-year, primarily reflecting the exit of loss-making contracts. German Rail revenue increased 19.3% year-on-year, reflecting a return to full operations and business stabilisation following the signing of revised rail contracts. UK Bus revenue decreased 1.8% year-on-year due to lower commercial patronage. On 18 August 2026, the Group announced an agreement in principle to sell the net assets and operations of UK Bus to the West Midlands Combined Authority, with completion expected in November 2026. The transaction monetises the UK Bus assets and substantially de-risks the Group from the forthcoming uncertainty of franchising in the area over the coming years. Guidance for the year remains unchanged.

Grant of Awards under Deferred Bonus Share Plan
