Winshear Starts Drill Testing Strong EM Target at the Portsoy Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project, Northeast Scotland

(TSXV:WINS) Winshear Metals Corp. has commenced drill testing of a strong downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) anomaly at the South Zone, Rodburn Target within the Portsoy Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project, located in northeast Scotland. Richard Williams, CEO of Winshear, stated that the company is excited to begin drilling to test the DHEM conductor identified at the South Zone, and that previous drilling has established high-grade nickel-copper-cobalt mineralisation in both the North and South Zones. The North and South Zones are 500 metres to 700 metres apart and appear to be two separate mineralised zones. DHEM surveying identified a strong conductor 100 metres east of hole RBD030 in the South Zone, which is now being drill-tested. The target depth for the current drilling is expected between 260 metres and 320 metres downhole. Mineralisation at the project is analogous to conduit style Ni-Cu-Co systems such as Voiseys Bay (Canada), Eagle (USA), Norilsk (Russia), and Jinchuan (China). South Zone drill intercepts include: RBD001 (45.00m from surface, 6.00m length, 0.96% Ni, 0.73% Cu, 601 ppm Co, 1.42% NiEq), RBD002 (69.00m, 17.00m, 1.16% Ni, 0.51% Cu, 769 ppm Co, 1.52% NiEq; including 70.00m, 12.00m, 1.42% Ni, 0.54% Cu, 929 ppm Co, 1.82% NiEq), RBD003 (114.00m, 4.00m, 0.69% Ni, 0.66% Cu, 484 ppm Co, 1.09% NiEq), RBD004 (112.00m, 12.26m, 1.02% Ni, 0.83% Cu, 633 ppm Co, 1.53% NiEq; including 118.29m, 5.97m, 1.92% Ni, 1.50% Cu, 1197 ppm Co, 2.86% NiEq), RBD008 (186.00m, 2.00m, 0.92% Ni, 0.27% Cu, 535 ppm Co, 1.13% NiEq), RBD009 (60.00m, 5.39m, 2.04% Ni, 0.56% Cu, 1110 ppm Co, 2.47% NiEq), RBD018 (100.00m, 2.00m, 1.54% Ni, 0.93% Cu, 735 ppm Co, 2.12% NiEq), RBD029 (217.85m, 8.15m, 0.77% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 469 ppm Co, 1.42% NiEq; including 217.85m, 6.00m, 0.98% Ni, 1.51% Cu, 600 ppm Co, 1.84% NiEq). North Zone drill intercepts include: RBD015 (60.00m, 9.00m, 0.61% Ni, 0.23% Cu, 310 ppm Co, 0.77% NiEq), RBD016 (74.00m, 9.00m, 1.13% Ni, 0.73% Cu, 1056 ppm Co, 1.64% NiEq), RBD028 (72.00m, 3.00m, 0.98% Ni, 0.14% Cu, 452 ppm Co, 1.11% NiEq; and 84.00m, 4.00m, 0.76% Ni, 0.32% Cu, 339 ppm Co, 0.97% NiEq). Nickel equivalent (NiEq) is calculated based on US$19,000/t Ni, US$9,000/t Cu, and US$32,000/t Co, using the formula Ni% + (0.524 x Cu%) + (1.22 x 10-4 x Co ppm), with equal recovery assumed. True thickness is estimated to be 85% - 100% of reported length. The mineralisation is related to a mafic to ultramafic intrusive complex, with high-grade mineralisation hosted within a late stage, undeformed peridotite, and nickel hosted in coarse pentlandite. Metallurgical work conducted earlier in 2026 demonstrated the ability to create clean nickel and copper concentrates, free of penalty elements. The nickel concentrate shows potential for 14-16% nickel concentrates with approximately 1% cobalt. J. Patricio Varas, P.Geo., President and Director of Winshear, is the Qualified Person for the technical and scientific information in the release. Winshear Metals Corp. is a Canadian-based minerals exploration company with a nickel-copper-cobalt project in Scotland (the Portsoy Project) and a gold / critical minerals project in Ontario (the Thunder Bay Project).
